Terms of Use

These Terms govern your access to and use of QuizzyOwl (quizzyowl.com), operated by Pexels360 Solutions LLP, Goa, India. By using QuizzyOwl you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

1. The service

QuizzyOwl generates quizzes. You type a topic, and questions are written for it — multiple choice, true or false, fill in the blank, odd one out, this or that, and match the following, at easy or difficult level, with an explanation for every answer.

Every quiz is free. There is no paywall and no locked topic. QuizzyOwl Pro (section 6) is an optional paid upgrade that adds benefits but does not unlock content.

We may add, change or remove features over time. Material changes are emailed to people with active accounts.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 to hold a QuizzyOwl account. By creating one you confirm that you are. We do not knowingly accept registrations from minors, and we close accounts we find belong to one.

Some topics are written for children. They are meant for a parent, guardian or teacher to use with a child, on the adult's account. A child should not have an account of their own.

You must also be able to enter a binding contract where you live, and your use of QuizzyOwl must comply with the law that applies to you.

3. Your account

Quizzes work without an account. An account is what makes your QO Coins, level and history persist. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email, or with Google — there is no password to lose.

Keep access to your email secure; anything done through your account is treated as done by you. Don't share an account.

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms or abuse the service.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Request quizzes on topics that are unlawful, sexual, that promote harm, or that target a private individual. Requests are screened and refused ones are logged.
  • Use scripts, bots or automated tools to generate quizzes, answer questions, or extract questions in bulk.
  • Create multiple accounts to accumulate QO Coins, or otherwise manipulate coins, levels or ranks.
  • Sell, transfer or share an account.
  • Scrape, reverse engineer, probe or attempt to reach systems or data you are not authorised to reach.
  • Submit false reports about questions, or use the report facility to disrupt the service.
  • Interfere with other people's use, or attempt to overwhelm our infrastructure.
  • Use the service for any illegal, fraudulent, harassing or offensive purpose.

Generating quizzes costs us money on every request. Automated or abusive generation is the one thing most likely to get an account closed without warning.

5. Quiz content and accuracy

This section matters more here than on most services, so please read it.

Questions and explanations on QuizzyOwl are generated by an AI model, not written or fact-checked by a person before publication. We take accuracy seriously and check in several ways: every question is independently re-answered before it is shown and discarded if the check disagrees; questions almost nobody answers correctly are withdrawn automatically, because that usually means the answer key is wrong rather than the question being hard; and anyone can report a question, with two reports pulling it out of circulation.

Even so, we do not warrant that any question, answer or explanation is accurate, complete or current. Errors will occur.

QuizzyOwl is for interest and practice. Do not rely on it as a source of truth for anything that matters — examinations, professional qualifications, medical, legal, financial or safety decisions. Verify anything important against a primary source.

If you spot something wrong, the report links under each explanation are the fastest route, or email support@quizzyowl.com. We withdraw questions found to be wrong rather than quietly correcting the answer.

6. QuizzyOwl Pro

Pro is optional and is the only paid product on QuizzyOwl.

What it gives you: 5x QO Coins on every correct answer, and no advertising for the term of your membership.

What it does not do: Pro does not unlock topics, questions or features — those are free for everyone. It does not make questions easier, and it confers no advantage beyond the coin multiplier stated above.

  • Pro is sold as a single one-year term at ₹365, inclusive of GST. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay for that term.
  • Access begins immediately on successful payment.
  • Pro does not auto-renew. Nothing is stored and nothing is charged automatically. You renew deliberately, or you don't.
  • Renewing before your term ends adds a year to the days you have left rather than replacing them.
  • When a term ends, Pro benefits stop and the account continues as a free account. Coins, level, rank and history are unaffected.
  • Payments are processed by PayU. We never see or store card details. A tax invoice is issued for every payment.

Refunds are governed by our Refunds Policy.

7. QO Coins, levels and ranks

Correct answers earn QO Coins, and passing a quiz advances your level and eventually your rank. These are in-product reward units:

  • They have no cash value, are not redeemable for money, and cannot be transferred between accounts.
  • There is currently nothing to spend them on. We are building that, but nothing here is a promise that any particular redemption will ever exist.
  • Each question pays coins once per person. Replaying a topic you already know does not earn again.
  • We may adjust how coins are issued, what they are worth, or how levels advance, at any time.
  • We may deduct or reset coins earned through cheating or a breach of these Terms.
  • Buying Pro does not buy coins. The multiplier applies to coins you earn by playing, and creates no entitlement to any amount.

8. Intellectual property

QuizzyOwl, the name, the logo, the visual design and the underlying code are owned by Pexels360 Solutions LLP. You may not copy, distribute or make derivative works without our written permission, except where the law allows it.

Questions and explanations are provided for taking quizzes on QuizzyOwl. You are welcome to use them personally — in a classroom, a pub quiz, your own study. You may not extract them in bulk, republish them as a collection, or use them to build or train a competing service.

9. Disclaimers

QuizzyOwl is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep it running, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that a quiz will generate on any particular attempt, or that any particular topic can be generated at all.

Quiz generation depends on a third-party AI provider. If that provider is unavailable, quizzes on new topics may fail while existing quiz pages continue to work. Section 5 covers the accuracy of what is generated.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pexels360 Solutions LLP and its partners, officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of QuizzyOwl — including any reliance on the accuracy of a question, answer or explanation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to these Terms or the service is limited to the greater of (a) INR 1,000, or (b) what you paid us for QuizzyOwl Pro in the twelve months before the claim.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Pexels360 Solutions LLP harmless from any claim, demand, loss or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the service, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

12. Termination

You may stop using QuizzyOwl at any time, and close your account by writing to support@quizzyowl.com. We may suspend or close your access for a breach of these Terms.

Sections that by their nature should outlast the account — intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law — survive termination.

13. Changes

We may change the service or these Terms. Material changes are emailed to people with active accounts at least 14 days before they take effect, except where a change is urgent for security, fraud prevention or legal compliance. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision, and continuing to use QuizzyOwl after that date constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The courts at Mapusa, Goa, India have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of them, subject to any consumer protection law that gives you the right to bring proceedings where you live.
